Why Fencer
On paper, a competition is a lot of manual calculation, and it only gets worse with multiple pools, several rounds and a repechage. Fencer works out victories, indices, seeding and final placements as the results come in.
It also keeps them. A pool sheet tells you who won on the night; a season of them tells you something worth knowing. Every competition you run stays on record, ready for the stats and insights coming next.
How it works
No setup, no import, no spreadsheet. You can start a competition on the drive to the club.
Name, date, weapon. Then how many pool rounds, how many pools in each, and whether the day finishes with a direct elimination bracket, with or without a repechage.
Share a join code and fencers add themselves. Nothing for you to type in. Anyone without an account can still be added as a guest.
Participants enter and check their own scores from their own phones, and everyone sees the pool update live. Or run the whole thing from one shared device at the venue. Both work, and you can mix them.
And Fencer does the counting. Victories, indices, seeding for the next round and who meets who in the bracket, all worked out the moment a result lands.

Direct elimination with an optional repechage, so a single bad bout doesn't end someone's evening. Third place gets fenced for in a bronze match instead of being handed out on seeding, and final placements are worked out for you, right down to last.

Open the app, pick a preset, and referee. The match tracker is a self-contained tool that sits outside the competition flow. A clock, the score, cards and priority, and nothing else in the way.

Before you download
Fencer is currently free to use with no limitations. In the future, we may introduce paid plans for certain features, but there will always be a free tier available.
